Apple iPhone 16 Series: The iPhone maker is all set to introduce the iOS 18 update to eligible iPhones. Apple has released a list of over 250 features that will be gradually rolling out to the devices including the much anticipated Apple Intelligence features and the customisation features as highlighted during the WWDC 2024.

Speaking of the specifics, the iOS 18 release would bring features like customization options for the Home Screen and Control Center, a redesigned Photos app, enhancements to Messages, App Lock and much more.

It must be noted that the Apple Intelligence features will begin rolling out with the iOS 18.1 update and it won’t be anytime soon. The company has announced that the iOS 18.1 update will begin rolling out next month in the US with localised support rolling out in December. Additionally, not all devices will get Apple Intelligence. Only iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 16 series will get the AI features along with smart Siri.

The list of iOS 18 features also includes some small and unannounced features including CarPlay with Spatial Audio (for compatible vehicles), Spatial Audio using AirPlay to stream audio to HomePod and much more. Move to iOS application has been revamped, Weather application will have some new tweaks.

Not only that, for the first time, Apple is adding a Call Recording feature along with call transcription. The users will also get rewriting tools, ChatGPT integration along Image Playground in the later updates.

iOS 18 also brings Live Voicemail to more languages including English, Spanish, Japanese and German.
