iOS 18.1 Beta Release Date: The iOS 18.1 beta update for the developers is officially rolling out for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The new iOS 18.1 beta update is rolling out with the Apple Intelligence features including the Writing Tools, Mail and Notifications upgrades, Revamped Photos and a lot more. Not only that, iPadOS 18.1 is also rolling out for select iPads. Here are all the iOS 18.1 beta features that are added.

iOS 18.1 beta features now include the much anticipated Apple Intelligence features. Here are some of them

1. Writing Tools:

The iOS 18.1 beta update now comes with AI-powered writing tools which can help in rewriting, proofreading and summarising text. This will be helpful in Mail, Notes, Pages and third-party applications.

2. Siri:

The glowing screen light around the screen is also part of this update. Not only that, Siri can now give users device users the ability to switch between text and voice for interactions. The users can also answer questions about how to do something on their devices.

3. Mail:

For your professional and daily formal interactions, the company has added a new section above your inbox highlighting the urgent emails including invitations, tickets, passes and more. The users will also be able to see the summaries of the emails without even opening them. Further, Smart Reply which offers quick responses has been added to the Mail. Another feature dubbed Focus has been added which will notify the users about immediate attention.

4. Photos:

The users will now be able to search for dedicated photos in their gallery. Along with that, the users will be able to find specific moments in the videos.

Not only that, the users will be able to create stories just by typing a prompt. The iPhone will use language and image understanding and take out the best photos and videos based on the description.

5. Transcription Summaries
