Apple's upcoming iPhone 15 series is believed to be 'Made in India' and will be offered in the country on the first day of global sales. According to a fresh report, the iPhone 15 will be available on the first day of its global sale. The new iPhone 15 series was expected to go on sale within a few days or weeks of its launch on Tuesday (US time).

In a short period of time after its global launch, a modest number of iPhone 15 units made in India are expected to be shipped to other nations. As part of its commitment to the "Make in India" movement, Apple manufacturer Foxconn accelerated local production of the next-generation iPhone 15 at its Sriperumbudur factory near Tamil Nadu in August.

The aim could be to reduce the launch and availability gap and boost exports as soon as the company introduces the iPhone 15 series in the world. According to a report by IANS, the California-based technology company is planning to offer locally produced iPhone 15 to the world by next month.

Apple started assembling its current flagship iPhone 14 at Foxconn’s India plant last year. It started within weeks of its global launch and was available within a few weeks.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 is anticipated to be the device's biggest update in the past three years. Improvements to the camera systems will be made across the board, with the Pro models receiving A17 bionic chipset.

Additionally, the iPhone 15 is anticipated to include USB-C for the first time. The iPhone 15's inclusion of a USB-C charging port is expected to usher in a new era for Apple. Apple iPhones are expected to gain 7% of the Indian smartphone market this year, which is dominated by Android due to domestic production.
