The iPhone 16 launch date is one of the most frequently asked questions among tech enthusiasts right now. According to the latest reports, the iPhone 16 series will ship in September, just like its predecessor. The iPhone 16 series is already a hot topic, having been the subject of numerous leaks. In the most recent leak, Ross Young, a display analyst, revealed in his subscriber-only post that Apple will begin production of the iPhone 16 series next month hinting at the on-time production process.

According to Young, the panel production of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro will start next week and is projected to become the highest volume of displays to be produced during the month and the highest volume of displays to be produced during the month. The post also hints at some changes to the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro sizes. Interestingly, the leaked dummy designs have also suggested the same.

As per the reports, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to get a 6.3-inch display while the iPhone 16 Pro Max may get 6.9-inch display. iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus may get the same 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch. However, the company has not confirmed the specifications or the production details at the time of writing this article.

If the reports are believed to be true, Apple will be launching the iPhone 16 series in the next 4 months and since Tim Cook has already confirmed the AI features and other add-ons, it seems to be one of the biggest smartphone launches of the year.

Meanwhile, Apple is expected to make the Action button standard across the iPhone 16 series and the iPhone 16 Pro may get the Capture button. With this, Apple is also expected to introduce new A-series chipsets with upgraded camera features, performance capabilities and more.
