iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max: The iPhone 17 series is all the buzz in the tech community right now; everyone from fans and enthusiasts to even rivals is looking forward to this year's presentations by the Cupertino-based tech giant. The highly anticipated iPhone 17 series is expected to bring with it many changes, ranging from design architecture and cameras to the stuff that matters the most under the hood. We have seen rumours of A19 chips, a newly redesigned camera bar for the Pro and Pro Max versions, and the supposed dark horse, the iPhone 17 Air, which is expected to take the place of the Plus variant.

Only recently we shared an article on the supposed leaked colours for the Pro and the Pro Max versions of the iPhone 17 series. The leak suggested a new colour scheme that Apple might be moving towards with orange and dark blue. This could be a bold step, as these will be fairly new colours for the handsets. Now, there is another leak that suggests the colours for the entire lineup of the iPhone 17 series!

According to a post on X (Twitter) by @MajinBuOfficial, the colourways for the entire iPhone 17 series lineup can be seen.

Building on earlier leaks, the Pro and Pro Max variants can be seen with orange and dark blue, among other colours; the supposed iPhone 17 Air can be seen with a new sky blue shade. Although one thing to note here is that in this leak the number of shades for the iPhone 17 Air is less than the other models showcased in the leak.

Apart from this, another leak from @theapplehub on X (Twitter) has suggested a Liquid Glass-inspired colour scheme for the Pro, which will change colour according to the light reflected off of it! How true is that? This only time will tell.

 

Other Expected Specs

The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are tipped to run on the all-new A19 Pro chip, while the standard iPhone 17 may continue with the A18—the same chip expected in the iPhone 16. RAM is getting a boost too: the Pro Max could pack 12GB, and even the entry models might finally move up to 8GB.

Battery life might see a modest bump, partly to support slightly larger displays. And for the first time, Apple could introduce 35W fast charging—an overdue but welcome upgrade. Another major change could come to the Pro Max, which is rumoured to get a vapour chamber cooling system to keep things smooth during long gaming or video editing sessions.

Pricing and Launch Outlook

Apple isn’t expected to shake up its India pricing too much. The iPhone 17 may still launch around ₹79,999, following recent trends. What’s new is the rumoured iPhone 17 Air—a model that could sit between the base and Pro versions, likely priced at ₹89,999.

As exciting as this is, these are just leaks and should be taken with a pinch of salt, as nothing is official and confirmed, but it does build up the anticipation towards the upcoming launches that could take place somewhere in mid-September if Apple decides to stick to its conventional timeline.
