Apple’s iPhone 17 has barely launched, and buyers in India are already seeing the price come down—at least for those who pre-book through authorised Apple resellers. Thanks to bank cashback offers, early adopters can get a solid deal that brings the entry price below ₹80,000.
At launch, Apple priced the iPhone 17 at ₹82,900 for the 256GB model and ₹1,02,900 for the 512GB option. However, customers using select ICICI Bank or SBI credit cards are eligible for a ₹6,000 instant cashback. This effectively reduces the prices to ₹76,900 and ₹96,900 respectively, making the iPhone 17 one of the most competitively priced Apple flagships in recent years.

The deal is particularly attractive when you factor in what the iPhone 17 brings to the table. Buyers get a 3000-nit Super Retina XDR display, ProMotion refresh rate ranging from 1–120Hz, and iOS 26 preloaded. Apple is also offering a splash of new colours this year, including Lavender, Mist Blue, Sage, White, and Black.
Pre-orders began on September 12 across more than 60 countries, including India, the US, UK, and Australia. Deliveries in India start on September 19, followed by a wider rollout to 20+ more regions on September 26. Meanwhile, Apple is also rolling out iOS 26 from September 15, ensuring that even existing users get access to the new software ahead of the phone’s retail debut.
For Indian buyers, the ₹6,000 cashback is more than just a sweetener. It brings the iPhone 17 within reach of many who may have otherwise considered holding off, especially since the phone now delivers Pro-level display tech on a non-Pro model. Combined with an improved camera setup and brighter, power-efficient screen, it’s a tempting upgrade path for iPhone 13 and 14 owners.
