iPhone SE 4 Features: Apple's next pocket-friendly smartphone, the iPhone SE 4, might feature a notch this time, a design tweak similar to the iPhone 14, and will not have a Dynamic Island which is there in the later high-end models. This information is confirmed by a prominent display analyst Ross Young.

While the Dynamic Island provides a much smoother experience and a sleek interface, a feature that debuted with the iPhone 15, Apple's decision to opt for the notch design is keeping in line with cost considerations for the iPhone SE 4.

The main aim of the iPhone SE 4 is to provide an option that isn't too heavy on the pocket while incorporating the latest features Apple has introduced in the last few releases while keeping the cost of production at the minimum.

Now what can we expect from the upcoming budget-friendly variant? It is expected that the iPhone SE 4 will sport a 6.1-inch display and might be powered by an A17 Pro chip. We can also expect it to come with 8GBs of RAM. This time we might see the end of the Touch ID which will make Face ID available across all iPhone variants. All this speculation is based on rumours that suggest that the iPhone SE 4 will have an iPhone 14-style design.

But why a notch? Well, this is to put a clear distinction between the budget and the higher-end models that Apple manufactures like the iPhone 16, this visually differentiates it from the premium iPhones.

The new variant of iPhone SE 4 is expected to debut somewhere around April 2025, with a possibility of featuring Apple's A18 chip, 8GB RAM, and a 48MP main camera. As far as the rumours suggest it might be priced somewhere around $500, making it Apple's most pocket-friendly device.
