VODAFONE Idea is undergoing a tough time due to the 5G race in which other telecom service providers like Jio and Airtel have raced ahead. However, to ensure its customers do not port out, Vi repeatedly introduces recharge plans and offers. One of which is the recently launched Rs. 181 prepaid recharge pack.

This quietly introduced plan can be recharged over and above the base plan for extra data. The recharge comes with 1GB per day of data with a validity of 30 days. It would be a worth-considering plan for consumers who run out of data daily while watching movies and shows. Plus, the IPL has also arrived in India. You can use this extra data to fuel your live-streaming apps.

This plan is different from data vouchers that offer data without 24-hour limits in one go. The per day data limit, once exhausted, undergoes a renewal the next day in this plan.

Speaking of recent additions, Vi, last month, introduced Rs. 289 and Rs. 429 plans. The Rs. 289 pack comes with unlimited calling, 4GB data, 600SMS and a validity of 48 days. The Rs. 429 plan comes with unlimited calls, 6GB data, 1000SMS and a validity of 78 days. Vi continuously adds recharge plan catalogues with upgrade benefits to incentivise their association.

Coming to Vi exclusive benefits, Hero Unlimited plans of the telecom service provider are widely popular. It includes unlimited data for binge watchers from 12 to 6 AM, weekend rollover of remaining data of weekdays and 2GB of additional data per month beyond the base plan limit for free. Bestseller hero unlimited plans of Vi include Rs. 299, Rs. 479 and Rs. 719. For more details, the recharge packs are dissected below.

Rs. 299 Plan comes with truly unlimited calls, 1.5GB data per day, 100 SMS/day and a validity of 28 days. Benefits (same for the other two plans - Rs. 479 and Rs. 719) with plans include unlimited night data, data rollover on weekends, access to Vi movies and TV Classic and 2GB additional data at no extra cost.

Rs. 479 plan bundles unlimited calls, 1.5GB data per day, 100 SMS/day and a validity of 56 days. Additional benefits with the pack are the same as the above plan.

Rs. 719 plan packs with unlimited calls, 1.5GB data per day, and 100 SMS per day with a validity of 84 days. Added benefits with the plan are the same as the Rs. 279 plan.
