iQOO, a Chinese smartphone maker and a Vivo sub-brand, has officially teased the launch date of iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro. The new flagship smartphone will make its China debut on November 7 at 7 PM. The iQOO 12 is also said to get some massive enhancements and the key specifications of the device have already been tipped. Additionally, it will be India's first phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, confirms the company. 

iQOO 12 Specifications:

The iQOO 12 series, which includes the iQOO 12, and iQOO 12 Pro, is said to get a flat AMOLED display offering a 1.5K resolution and the Pro trim is said to get the curved AMOLED display with 2K resolution. Both devices are said to get a 144 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is said to get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with 30 per cent improved performance and 20 per cent greater efficiency. The iQOO 12 is said to be backed by a 5,000 mAh battery while the Pro variant is said to get a 5,100 mAh battery. Both smartphones are claimed to have 120W fast charging support.

The smartphones are said to get a dedicated display processor for better gaming performance which as per reports includes the ray-tracing capabilities.

Speaking of the optics, the smartphones are said to get the 50 MP OV50H primary shooter with optical image stabilisation. The iQOO 12 is said to get a telephoto lens while the iQOO 12 Pro is said to get a periscopic telephoto lens.

iQOO 12 Release Date:

The India launch date of the iQOO 12 series is still under wraps and the smartphone is expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The smartphone will be priced a bit higher than its predecessor because of the additions.
