iQOO has officially taken the wraps off its latest flagship lineup—the iQOO 15 series—in China, with a clear focus on raw performance and power efficiency. The new series debuts Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which is paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for ultra-fast data handling. Complementing the SoC is a dedicated Q3 gaming chip, jointly developed by iQOO, designed to offload some graphic and scheduling tasks from the main processor, ensuring smoother gameplay and sustained performance.

On the visual front, the iQOO 15 features a 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 2K-class resolution and a blazing 144 Hz refresh rate. The screen supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and 2160 Hz PWM dimming, along with Samsung’s M14 8T panel material for enhanced brightness and colour accuracy.
The phone’s design maintains the recognisable squircle-shaped rear camera module, which now includes RGB lighting for dynamic visual effects. Powering the device is a massive 7,000mAh battery, supported by 100W wired and 40W wireless charging, making it one of the most battery-durable flagships on the market. iQOO has also equipped it with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance ratings.
In the camera department, the rear setup includes three 50MP sensors—a main camera with OIS, an ultra-wide lens, and a 3x periscope telephoto lens, also with OIS. The front camera is a 32MP unit for selfies and video calls.
The device runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, and interestingly, iQOO has confirmed that the Indian variant will also retain OriginOS instead of switching to Funtouch OS as in previous releases.
