iQOO is all set to introduce its highly anticipated iQOO Neo 7 Pro smartphone in India on July 4, now it has a major upgrade. The company, which has recently confirmed the launch date, has now confirmed that it would be powered by the last generation flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. However, the company has not announced any other key details about the upcoming mid-ranger.

According to the rumour mill, the upcoming mid-range performance smartphone is expected to come with a huge 6.78-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Now, it is confirmed that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. There are some speculations that the smartphone could get a dedicated gaming chip. iQOO Neo 7 Pro to support its multi-tasking capabilities, may get up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.

iQOO Neo 7 Pro is said to be backed by a 5,000 mAh battery and fast charging support of 120W. It will run on Android 13-based FuntouchOS 13 out of the box.

The company is expected to work on the camera upgrades as well and the report suggests that the phone would get a 50 MP primary lens along with an 8 MP ultrawide sensor and a 2 MP macro sensor with optical image stabilisation support. While for selfies and video calls, the smartphone is said to get a 16 MP selfie camera.

In addition to dual SIM, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and other connectivity and security capabilities, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will include an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The smartphone is expected to make its debut with a price tag of around Rs 40,000. It will be getting a bright orange faux leather back making it an appealing look.
