Jio Prepaid Mobile Recharge Plan:Jio Hotstar just launched recently and it already has some banging exclusives lined up for its audience. The ICC Champions Trophy and the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be exclusively streaming on the Jio Hotstar OTT platform, but for this, you require a subscription this time to watch the popular cricket tournament, with plans starting at Rs 149 for three months. However there is some good news for Jio network users, they can now get free access to Jio Hotstar with the Rs 949 recharge plan.
The updated list on Jio.com shows that the telecom giant is now offering a complimentary Jio Hotstar Mobile subscription, which costs Rs 149, free of cost with its Rs 949 recharge plan. This plan offers a validity of 84 days, 2 GB- high speed 4G data per day, and unlimited 5 G data. The plan also offers unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day.
This Jio Hotstar plan is ad-supported and users will be able to access all content on a single mobile device at a time which would include live sports, the latest movies and Disney+ originals as well. A thing to take note of is that the users will be restricted to 720p resolution only. But if you choose to go for the super plan which will cost you Rs 299 for three months, you will be able to stream at 1080p resolution on mobile, web and smart TVs with support of up to two devices streaming simultaneously.
If you want a complete ad-free experience the Premium plan will cost you Rs 499 for three months, and it supports 4K resolution for streaming.
