The LG QNED MiniLED AI TV 2025 quietly became one of the best-value premium TVs this season. A steep price drop brought the 65-inch model down to around ₹1 lakh — a huge cut from its usual ₹1.3–1.35 lakh range. The 55-inch trims go even lower, making this lineup surprisingly accessible for anyone aiming for a high-end viewing experience without splurging on OLED.
Design and Build
LG didn’t go overboard with the design, and that works in its favour. The ultra-thin bezels, subtle branding, and clean metal finish give it a premium presence in the living room. You can mount it on the wall or stick with the included tabletop stand—either way, it blends in easily.
Display and Performance
This series ranges from 55 to 85 inches; the review unit was the 65-inch. And here’s the thing: even though it’s not OLED, the MiniLED panel pushes well above what you’d expect at this price.
- 100% DCI-P3 color
- 144Hz refresh rate
- Excellent peak brightness
Strong local dimming for deep blacks and high contrast
Daytime viewing is crisp and vibrant, and dark-room performance holds up well thanks to precise backlight control — not OLED-depth, but surprisingly close for the money.
The Alpha 8 processor handles upscaling beautifully. Even older 1080p content looks sharp, detailed, and naturally saturated. LG provides multiple picture modes, including Filmmaker Mode for purists who demand accurate movie output.
Smart Features and UI: Better remote, Faster UI, Heavy on features
LG has cleaned up the remote this year. It’s slimmer, has an AI button, and still includes the air-mouse feature — though that remains a mixed experience and takes some getting used to.
Recommended For You
The interface feels quick and fluid. App support is extensive, and LG promises five years of software updates, which is rare at this price.
LG Channels – over 100 free streaming channels available right out of the box – are also included, along with more robust AI tools, better voice controls, and an expanded content search system.
Gaming
Purchasing this monitor for gaming with either PS5 or Xbox Series X console is sure to bring smooth and responsive action, thanks to the 144Hz panel, VRR, and Auto Low Latency Mode features. Motion handling is excellent while input lag remains sufficiently low enough for fast-paced titles.
Audio
The 20W 9.1.2-channel speaker setup on this slim TV is sufficient for everyday viewing, yet lacking in fullness and punchiness. Dialogue is clear while action-intensive scenes need additional support from external sources; pairing this TV with a soundbar enhances its experience dramatically.
Verdict: One of the best premium TVs you can buy at around ₹1 lakh
The LG QNED MiniLED AI TV 2025 hits a sweet spot. You’re getting:
- A bright and color-accurate MiniLED display
- High-refresh gaming performance
- A premium design
- Strong AI features
- Long-term software support
…all without stepping into expensive OLED territory.
The downsides are manageable: average audio and a UI that may seem overly busy at first. Once adjusted to, and especially when combined with a soundbar, this TV offers an outstanding home-theatre experience. If you want something premium without paying OLED prices, this is easily one of the best all-round choices from 2025's lineup.
