X (previously Twitter), which has been adding new features to make the platform more user pleasant and retain users, will shortly launch a new job search option. With this new function, users will be able to find employment directly on the micro-blogging platform. This happened after Elon Musk's AI business, @XHiring, was reported to have started posting job listings on its page by '@xDaily,' an account that covers X news. However, this is currently only accessible in the US and online.
“But how will we know who is hiring?” a user questioned. In response, Chris Bakke, the former CEO of the job-matching service Laskie, which Twitter purchased in May, said: "Job search, but more importantly-- matchmaking to qualified opportunities -- both coming soon."
The company calls the feature "Twitter Hiring," and it is a "free" feature for "verified organisations to post jobs on your company profile, and attract top talent to your open positions," according to a screenshot posted by app researcher Nima Owji last month.
Additionally, up to five job openings may be added to the profiles of verified firms. In May of this year, Musk made a hint about this feature. Twinder, a dating app, was recommended by a user, and Musk responded, "Interesting idea, maybe jobs too."
Laskie was X's first acquisition after Musk took leadership. This means that it's probable the acquisition helped the platform develop and release the functionality. Musk stated on Sunday that there are currently no great "social networks" but that he is committed to building "at least one".

Meanwhile, Elon Musk has declared that the block feature will be removed from the X platform. Except for the DMs, he shared that users will be unable to block anyone. However, users will be able to muffle others. Musk also stated that barring someone makes no sense and that muting accounts prohibits people from viewing postings made by muted accounts is still a practical option.
