Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg seem to be preparing for an epic cage fight that has captivated the world's attention in a battle of the tech titans. Musk's highly anticipated event, which he announced earlier this year, has taken an unexpected turn, becoming a battle not only of brawn but also of words.
Musk and Zuckerberg's heated exchange began with Musk's announcement that the cage fight would be live-streamed on the platform "X" and that all proceeds would benefit a veterans' charity.
Zuckerberg mocked Musk's initial fight date suggestion, claiming that he had proposed August 26, but Musk had yet to confirm. He also criticised the platform selection, stating that they should have used a more dependable platform that could raise money for charity.
"I'm ready today," Zuckerberg declared on Threads, attaching a screenshot of Musk's post about weightlifting in preparation for the fight. He expressed his desire to face Musk in the cage and compete against someone who trains as hard as he does.
The discussion on Threads sparked user speculation about whether the decision to live stream the fight on platform "X" was mutually agreed upon. "More like 'funding secured,'" Zuckerberg responded.
Musk, on the other hand, insisted that the actual date of the cage battle remained unknown, citing an upcoming MRI of his neck and upper back that may necessitate surgery. Despite the defeat, he oozed confidence, suggesting that if the fight was short, he would most likely win, but if it lasted longer, Zuckerberg might have the advantage owing to endurance.
Meanwhile, supporters of both tech titans have been engaged in intense disputes across numerous platforms, with some defending Musk's size advantage and referring to weight divisions in MMA, while others admire Zuckerberg's tenacity and passion for the sport.
As the world awaits the cage battle of the century, there are still questions about the exact date and the live-streaming platform to be used. The clash between these two tech giants appears to be about more than simply physical prowess, as it has now escalated into a battle of words and platform preferences.
