Mediatek, a global top fabless semiconductor player, presented its vision for the future of artificial intelligence through new developments enhancing its technology roadmap. The firm also confirmed cooperation with TSMC to jointly develop a next-generation flagship SoC based on the improved N2P process, which will be mass-produced later next year.
At a private press conference, MediaTek unveiled its newest flagship chipset—the Dimensity 9500—to drive the next generation of premium 5G smartphones. The chip seeks to provide an optimized combination of on-device AI, console-level gaming performance, and enhanced power efficiency, setting a new standard for mobile experiences.

To prove its mettle, MediaTek conducted a series of live demos highlighting the Dimensity 9500's AI and gaming capabilities. These were image-to-image style transformations, 4K-resolution text-to-image synthesis, and real-time graphics rendered with Unreal Engine technologies like Mega Light and Nanite, delivering console-grade visuals and lighting effects to mobile platforms.
The session also witnessed the presence of top OEM partners such as Vivo, OPPO, Samsung, Tecno, and Lava. OPPO India's Head of PR and Communications, Goldee Patnaik, presented a keynote spotlighting the new OPPO Find X9 Series that will be driven by the Dimensity 9500 SoC.

Our flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 delivers breakthrough on-device AI, top-tier performance and efficiency, and a full suite of premium experiences that our OEMs can bring to users around the world. In line with the IMC 2025 theme of ‘Innovate to Transform’, MediaTek highlighted its long-standing expertise in connectivity, computing, and multimedia products and technologies.”
The company also showcased its broader technology portfolio, featuring MediaTek-powered devices across multiple categories, including the HP G1m Chromebook (Kompanio 520), Vivo X200 FE (Dimensity 9300+), and Lumio Arc 5 Projector.
MediaTek’s participation at IMC 2025 also included several thought leadership panels. These covered themes like next-generation gadgets built in India, AI’s integration in telecom networks, and future 6G use cases. Company executives, including Raghavan Sampath, Anku Jain, and Akshay Aggarwal, represented MediaTek across these discussions.
On the sidelines, the company hosted its “Game On with MediaTek” tournament featuring smartphones powered by Dimensity 8000 and 9000 series chips. Over 50 fans competed, putting the devices’ performance to the test. Anuj Sidharth, Director, Marketing and Communications, MediaTek India, said, “An engaging community is vital for building brand loyalty and trust. The Game On with MediaTek tournament is more than just a competition – it’s a way of introducing our incredible technologies to passionate tech enthusiasts and allowing them to push these devices to their limits. This initiative reiterated MediaTek’s continued leadership and cemented our SoCs as the go-to choice for gamers.”

Continuing its long-term commitment to India’s digital ecosystem, MediaTek also partnered as the official Technology Media Lounge Partner at IMC for the second consecutive year, reaffirming its role in driving conversations around innovation, connectivity, and intelligent technologies.
