Instagram Threads - Meta's messaging app - now includes improved options for customising profiles and sharing settings to respond to user feedback. The above are some of the new features that Instagram users will interact with, as announced by company head Adam Mosseri in a blog post.

It is worth noting, however, that an important difference between Threads and other applications is its feature that allows a user to delete his or her profile without affecting his or her Instagram account. Mosseri explained the process, saying, "We are introducing a separate way of deleting the Threads' profile." This feature will be available under the settings menu on the 'Account' page, where users must press the delete button.

Users can also easily stop the default functionality that shares Thread posts with applications like Facebook and Instagram. Users will have more control over what they wish to post on their social media sites according to this change, which gives users more control over the display of their information across multiple channels.

The platform also offers the option of deactivating the profile rather than permanently removing it. This is for someone who wants to keep their Threads profile open but will be taking a break at the time.

Mosseri also mentioned the creation of an opt-out tool for persons featured on Threads who did not want their communities to have such power over them. It has enabled consumers to tailor their visibility on multiple web channels based on their specific requirements.

Threads recently added the ability for users to share content on social networking platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, allowing them to reach a wider audience. Nonetheless, the most recent versions show Meta's sensitivity to issues of control and confidentiality raised by users.

Mark Zuckerberg, the creator and CEO of Meta, announced that Threads, a popular app, had reached the milestone of one hundred million active monthly users. Mosseri also mentioned creating an API for the Threads programme so that developers may create numerous apps and other experiences based on this burgeoning social platform. Although concerned about the influx of publisher material, Mosseri maintains that Insta is going forward.
