Meta Verified India: Soon after announcing Meta Verified, CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the subscription for Indian as well as global users. Much similar to Twitter, Meta would offer a blue tick with its Verified Subscription along with a slew of new features including more privacy and protection from impersonations.

Mark Zuckerberg said on the broadcasting channel that Meta Verified is now available for users in India, the UK, and Canada, with Brazil to follow soon. The Meta Verified, however, was being tested in Australia and New Zealand.

What Is Meta Verified?

According to the blog post, it is a membership package on Instagram and Facebook that includes a verified badge that verifies your account with official identification, proactive account protection, and access to account assistance.

How Can Instagram And Facebook Users Verify Themselves:

To get their profiles verified, individuals would require a government ID. This is because the business would attest to the user's credibility and the account's authenticity.

By opting for a Meta Verified India subscription, the users would be getting the following features:

1. Verified Badge

The users would get a blue tick after the company confirms that this is the real you and your account is credible.

2. Protection From Impersonations

The business has said that it will offer proactive account monitoring for impersonators who might choose to target users of expanding internet audiences.

3. Account Support

Meta has also announced that the users would get direct user support in case of common account issues. It is currently available in English but would soon be available in Hindi.

As per the company’s official website, the users must be above the age of 18 years and must have fulfilled the minimum activity requirement. Further, the user will need to provide a government ID that matches the profile name and photo of the Facebook and Instagram accounts they have.

Meta Verified Price India:

Meta Verified is now available for users in India; Instagram and Facebook users can get their hands on the monthly subscription by paying an amount of Rs 699 for a month if they are an iOS and Android user. And for Web users, the company would soon bring a subscription with a monthly subscription fee of Rs 599.
