Microsoft Copilot App For iPhone: Soon after the news of Microsoft's Copilot app for Android engulfed the tech world, the company is now introducing the AI-powered chatbot app for iPhone and iPad users. You can head to the Apple App Store to download the app for iOS and iPadOS. The app allows access to Microsoft Copilot (earlier Bing Chat) and functions like ChatGPT. It also offers access to the DALL-E 3 text-to-image generator.
Copilot can answer user queries, write emails, summarise information and generate images. The cherry on top is that Copilot is powered by GPT-4, unlike GPT 3.5 on the ChatGPT app's free version. The large language model (LLM) of OpenAI is available for free for users of the app. For the unversed, the company recently rebranded the experience from Bing Chat to Copilot.
Besides the app, you can also access the chatbot from the web. "Improve your productivity with Copilot–your AI-powered chat assistant. Copilot is a pioneering chat assistant from Microsoft powered by the latest OpenAI models, GPT-4 and DALL·E 3. These advanced AI technologies provide fast, complex, and precise responses, as well as the ability to create breathtaking visuals from simple text descriptions," the description on the App Store noted.

Apart from basic text generation and summarisation, Copilot can help with a wide range of other tasks such as multilingual content translation, proofreading, personalised travel plans and resume writing. The accompanying Image Creator can help with social media content, create brand logos and motifs, generate custom backgrounds, complement a design portfolio, illustrate books and more.
Microsoft Copilot Compatibility
According to the Apple App Store, the app requires iOS 15.0 and iPadOS 15.0 or later to function on a device. Mac users must have macOS 12.0 or later with an M1 chip (or later) to run the app. Meanwhile, Microsoft also partnered with Suno, a renowned name for AI music generation to bring similar capabilities to Copilot. Moreover, a diverse set of other features will arrive on Copilot this year. You can read more on this here.
