Copilot AI New Features: Bing Chat, the brainchild of Microsoft after its heavy fund infusion in ChatGPT maker OpenAI, will complete one year in a few weeks. All the scattered tools around Bing AI were recently enveloped in one experiment that the company named - Microsoft Copilot. As the AI innovations enter 2024, the company announced a range of enhancements it is testing and will roll out soon. Here are a few of them.

GPT-4 Turbo: The Redmond-headquartered tech giant noted Copilot would start using OpenAI's latest GPT-4 Turbo model to generate responses for "complex and longer tasks" soon. It is undergoing testing and will be released for users in the future.

DALL-E 3: Users can now use the DALL-E 3-powered AI model to create more accurate and high-quality results using prompts. You can visit 'bing.com/create' or ask Copilot to generate an image.

Inline Compose: With the rewrite menu, Microsoft Edge users can "easily write from most websites". Users can select the text and ask the AI assistant to rephrase the contents. It will be available for Edge users soon.

Multi-Modal Search Grounding: The company is combining powers of GPT-4's vision capabilities with Bing Image Search and web data to understand queries. It will be available soon. In this demo, the image of Chandrayaan-3 with the prompt "When was this launched?" was presented. The Copilot returned the essential information with the date.

Code Interpreter: The firm is working to enable users to perform "complex tasks", including calculations, coding, visualisation, data analysis, math and more. Microsoft is gathering feedback from select users before it is released for all users.

Deep Search: Powered by GPT-4, Deep Search can deliver "optimised search results" for complex queries. "Activating Deep Search expands search queries into more comprehensive descriptions to deliver more relevant results," Microsoft said.
