Soon after announcing the new Surface machines at its Microsoft 2023 event, the Windows maker introduced its Surface Go 3 laptop in India. You can now pre-book the laptop via Microsoft's partner retailers. The product range starts from roughly Rs 80,000 and steeps over Rs 1.3 lakh in the country. If you are interested in a new laptop in that price range, here are the three things you should know.

Surface Go 3 Specifications

Dubbed the "lightest and most portable" in the Surface series, the laptop weighs 1.13g and sports a 12.4-inch PixelSense touch-enabled screen. For immersive multimedia consumption, the laptop gets Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Audio and two Studio mics.

Under the hood, the device has a 12th-gen core i5 processor and Iris Xe Graphics with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It runs on the latest Windows 11 OS. As for connectivity, the laptop gets Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, one USB-C 3.2 port, USB-A 3.1 port, headphone jack and Surface Connect port.

Microsoft claims a battery backup of up to 15 hours and fast charging support. As for the extras, the laptop has an HD camera, fingerprint-based unlock and AI-powered tools in Clipchamp, Paint and Photos. For a smooth typing experience, the device has a full-size keyboard and a precision trackpad. It is available in a Platinum colour option.

While now up for grabs via pre-order, the availability will begin on November 9.

Surface Go 3 Availability

The laptop models can be pre-ordered via Amazon India, Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales and select multi-brand outlets. Buyers who pre-order the device before or till November 8 can "enjoy exclusive pre-order promotions with a complimentary Marshall Major IV Wireless Headset" via select channels. Secondly, a free one-month Microsoft 365 and PC Game Pass is on offer.
