Minecraft Bedrock has been given a fresh experimental update with the latest version, 1.21.120.23 release.The beta and preview build bring in a few new features along with fixing existing bugs and enhancing performance overall. Those who wish to experience future features ahead of the official launch can now download the beta on various platforms like Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and 5, Windows, Android, and iOS.
Downloading on Xbox One and Series X/S
To access the 1.21.120.23 beta on Xbox, players must own a licensed copy of Minecraft Bedrock, although an active Game Pass subscription also works. Start by opening your game library and searching for “Minecraft Preview”.Once the preview edition appears, select it and click “Install”. After the installation is complete, the new features will be available to explore.

Downloading on Windows 10/11
Fresh Installation: Ensure you have the official Minecraft launcher. Search for the Bedrock edition, and next to the Play button, open the drop-down menu and select “Latest Preview”. Install the preview to access the 1.21.120.23 beta.
Existing Beta Users: Open the Microsoft Store and locate Minecraft Preview in your installed games. Click the Update icon, or manually select “Get Updates” if no update button appears.
Downloading on Mobile Devices
Android: Open the Google Play Store, search for Minecraft, scroll down, and tap “Join the Beta”. Download the latest preview to play.
iOS: Install the TestFlight app, sign up for Minecraft’s preview programme, and follow the email link to download the beta. Note that iOS beta slots are limited.
Downloading on PlayStation 4/5
Launch Minecraft on your PlayStation, navigate to the sidebar, and select “Preview”. Click “Get PlayStation Preview” based on your console and press Download to install the beta.
