Moto G85 Release Date: Soon after announcing a new clamshell foldable - Moto Razr 50 Ultra in India, Motorola is now gearing up to introduce another new device. All set to supersede the Moto G84, the company is gearing up to introduce the Moto G85 5G in the country. Soon after the launch on July 10, the device will be up for grabs on Flipkart.

A dedicated microsite for the device is now live on the e-commerce website. The Flipkart page confirms the device is set to arrive in two storage variants: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. The phone will be available in Cobalt Blue, Urban Grey and Olive Green shades. Meanwhile, a few specifications of the handset were confirmed via the microsite.

Moto G85 Specifications

The smartphone is confirmed to offer a 6.7-inch pOLED 120Hz 10-bit screen with Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 1,600nits peak brightness. Under the hood, it is confirmed to sport a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset. It will run on Android 14 and get two years of OS and three years of security updates. As for the design, the phone will sport a vegan leather design. It will weigh 172g and have a thickness of 7.59mm.

The G85 will sport a 5,000mAh battery with 33W TurboPower charging. The handset will offer a Sony-LYTIA 600 50MP OIS main camera with 8MP ultrawide and macro lens and a 32MP selfie shooter. As for the extras, the phone will also get dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, IP52 rating, Smart Connect, Family Space, ThinkShield Protection, Moto Secure and more features.

Motorola G85 Price (Expectations)

As for the expected pricing, we can expect the smartphone to sit in the sub-Rs 18,000-20,000 price range in India considering the previous track record of the 'G' series. However, readers should note that Motorola has not confirmed any pricing details at the time of filing.
