After a series of render leaks, Motorola has announced that the company is all set to launch the Moto G84 5G smartphone in India. The phone maker confirmed the update on X (formerly called Twitter) alongside several other features in a microsite on Flipkart.
According to the e-commerce microsite, the phone would debut in a special Viva Magenta colour like some other offerings of the company. Here are all the details to give you a detailed walkaround on what to expect from the device.
Moto G84 Specifications
Display
The handset will debut with a 6.55-inch FHD+ pOLED 10-bit panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It has a peak brightness of 1300 nits and supports HDR10+.
Performance
Under the hood, the device will sport a Snapdragon 695 CPU. As for the storage, the company may offer up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Software
It would run on a clean software experience based on Android 13. Motorola is promising an assured update to Android 14 and three years of security updates.

Battery and Optics
It would sport a 5,000mAh battery with 30W charging via the wired source. As for the optics, the device will have a 50MP primary lens with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide lens that will double up as a macro lens. For an immersive multimedia experience, it may have dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support and Moto Spatial Sound.
Extras
Plus the IP54-rated device shall debut with features like Moto Connect and Thinksheld security. For seamless 5G connectivity, 14 5G bands will be available on the phone.
Moto G84 5G Launch Date
The company has confirmed that the smartphone will launch in India on September 1, 2023. Apart from the Viva Magenta shade, two more colour options - Marshmallow Blue and Midnight Blue shall also debut on the same date.
