HMD Global, a Finnish technology company that also owns Nokia, has announced the C22, a new budget smartphone for Indian users. The company has announced that the smartphone will have improved data protection and will provide users with some of the best in class features.

Nokia C22 Specifications:

The all-new Nokia C22 gets a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen with a resolution of 720x1,600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Under the hood, the device is powered by the octa-core Unisoc SC9863A chipset which comes paired with up to 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The smartphone is backed by a 5000 mAh battery which is supported by the Battery Saver feature. The smartphone can provide a battery back for up to 3 days. The device runs on the latest Android out of the box.

For security purposes, the company has offered IP52 certification which protects the phone from dust and water splash. Additionally, it also gets a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel for security purposes and a face unlock feature. The smartphone comes with a dual SIM setup along with a promise of quarterly security updates for the next two years, however, the company has not promised an operating system update.

Speaking of the optics, the smartphone gets a dual camera setup with a 13 MP primary shooter along with a 2 MP sensor with LED flashlight support. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone gets an 8 MP front camera.

Nokia C22 Price In India:

The all-new Nokia C22 is available in three different colours namely Charcoal, Purple, and Sand. The base trim of the smartphone with 2GB RAM costs Rs 7,999 while the top-end trim with 4GB RAM comes with a price of Rs 8,499.
