OnePlus 11 users in the country can now taste OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 as the company announced the first Open Beta build for the smartphone. This will enable users to experience the new improvements in the OS before it is finally rolled out for users later this month.

According to a Community post from OnePlus, a few features might be unavailable on the build as it is the first beta. Plus, the company highlighted that the versions are not as stable as official updates rolled out to all users. Hence, they may carry "potential risks." OnePlus unveiled this open beta program in India and North America.

Among the reported issues in the build are problems with the control center, failure of swipe gestures in some cases, and more. The company shared to apply the update, the device should be running on the version of OxygenOS 13.1 - 'CPH2447_13.1.0.590(EX01)/CPH2447_13.1.0.591(EX01)', with a minimum of 4GB storage and more than 30 per cent battery.

OnePlus is inviting 5,000 users to use the software who should have the latest OxygenOS 13.1 running on the OnePlus 11 device. Users can head to Settings and find (or search) the 'Beta program' option and follow the on-screen instructions.

Once the request of the user gets approved, an update will be available within the settings section. Further, interested users must register for the build as early as possible to get the update. However, they should take into account the associated negatives that flow with the build, before installing.
