OnePlus, a Chinese smartphone maker, launched the OnePlus 12 series in India last month. The company is now set to introduce a special edition model in the OnePlus 12R, which will be themed based on the Genshin Impact character Keqing. It will launch in India on February 28, 2024. An official page of the phone is now live on the brand's official website.

The prizes in the lucky draw (now live on the brand's official site) include a OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition, 1,000 Primogems and Rs 1,000 Trade-in coupon. Early bird benefits on the upcoming phone include instant bank discounts, exchange bonus and no-cost EMI offers. The phone will debut in an Electro Violet colour.

It will likely have custom packaging and a different design on the back compared to other OnePlus offerings. Apart from the design, the company might consider adding a new storage variant to the phone. However, the rest of the specifications will likely remain identical.

OnePlus 12R Specifications

The smartphone has a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED ProXDR curved 120Hz display with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. For performance, the handset gets a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU and Adreno 740 GPU. It runs on OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14. The OnePlus 12R has a 5,500mAh battery with 100W SUPERVOOC charging. Moving to the cameras, the OnePlus 12R gets a 50MP OIS primary, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro lens and a 16MP selfie shooter.

As for connectivity, the phone offers Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, an Alert Slider, infrared blaster, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port for charging. For security, the phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor. As for extras, the phone has dual stereo speakers. While the base variant of the OnePuls 12R starts from Rs 39,999, the Genshin Impact Edition could cost more and debut with more storage.
