OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch of the OnePlus 12R in India along with the flagship OnePlus 12 on January 23. The smartphone will get some flagship features and will be yet another flagship killer. This comes after the company announced the launch of OnePlus Ace 3 in China on January 4. It is reported that the OnePlus 12R will be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3.

Not only that, the company has also confirmed the smartphone colours. The OnePlus 12R will be launched in Iron Gray and Cool Blue colour shades. The teaser also shows that the smartphone will get the alert slider on the left side. The reports suggest that the shifted position of the alert slider is because of the better performance during online gaming sessions.

OnePlus 12R Launch Date In India:

According to the teaser, the smartphone would be released in India, North America, and Europe. The R series, on the other hand, is only available to Indian clients. Details about the colour schemes, specifications, and other features have already leaked ahead of the smartphone's January 23 launch.

OnePlus 12R Specifications: (Expected)

The upcoming OnePlus 12R is said to feature a 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED panel with a refresh rate panel of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1.5K. Under the hood, the smartphone may be powered by a last-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset which can come paired with up to 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM and 256 GB UFS 4.0 storage. The OnePlus 12R will run on Android 14-based OxygenOS 14.

In terms of optics, the smartphone may get a 50 MP Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilisation, an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2 MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone may feature a 16 MP front camera.
