OnePlus 12 Series Release Date In India: OnePlus, a Chinese smartphone maker, is all set to introduce the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R in India. Both handsets will debut on January 23, 2024, at 07:30 PM IST in the country. The date coincides with the global debut of the handsets after a China release this month.

The OnePlus India website listing has posted a banner in which the scheduled timing of 'A OnePlus Launch Event' has been posted with the tagline 'Smooth Beyond Belief' next to the flagship smartphone. The company noted that users who "click Subscribe" can stand a chance to win a free OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R.

OnePlus 12 has already debuted in China. From these inferences, here are the expected price and specifications of the smartphone.

OnePlus 12 5G Specifications (Leaks)

The flagship device could offer a 6.82-inch QHD+ 3D curved AMOLED 120Hz screen with a peak brightness of up to 4,500nits. It will run on an octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and Adreno 750 GPU. The handset will likely have Android 14-based latest OxygenOS 14 skin.

The handset will have a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. As for the optics, it may offer a 50MP primary lens, 48MP ultrawide and 64MP 3X pericope lens on the rear and a 32MP selfie shooter. The IP65-rated phone may offer Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and a USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port.

Reports tip the value-for-money sibling to the OnePlus 12 - OnePlus 12R may offer a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE OLED LTPO 120Hz curved screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, Adreno 740 GPU, Android 14, 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging and a 50MP OIS + 8MP UW + 32MP telephoto rear camera setup.

OnePlus 12 Price In India (Expected)

The handset starts from 4,299 yuan in China, which converts to about Rs 50,700 in the Indian currency. However, a reader must note that the price will be on the higher side.
