OnePlus is gearing up for another major entry in its performance-driven lineup, with the OnePlus 15R now officially confirmed to launch in India on 17 December. While the company has not revealed the complete specification sheet just yet, a combination of official images and consistent leaks has already outlined what users should expect from the brand’s next budget flagship.

Clean Design Revealed In Official Images

OnePlus has published its first visuals of the 15R, showcasing a minimalistic, flat-edged frame that closely mirrors the premium OnePlus 15 series. The rear adopts a squared camera module with a clean, understated layout. At launch, the OnePlus 15R will be offered in two colours: Black and Green.

Expected Specifications Of OnePlus 15R

Industry reports strongly indicate that the OnePlus 15R could be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 6T sold in China. If this aligns with the final hardware, the device is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, placing it comfortably in the upper mid-range bracket.

Battery performance may be one of the biggest highlights. OnePlus executive Li Jie Louis has already confirmed that the Ace 6T features a massive 8,000mAh battery, and leaks suggest the OnePlus 15R will feature the same capacity. Support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging is also rumoured, bringing serious speed to everyday use.

On the display side, leaks point to a 165Hz high-refresh-rate panel, though details like peak brightness and exact panel type remain unconfirmed. Imaging hardware is tipped to include a dual 50MP rear camera setup aimed at consistent, reliable performance.

Additional Features To Expect

The OnePlus 15R is expected to retain the customisable Plus Key introduced in recent OnePlus models. Certification data coming from China hints at IP68 and possibly IP69 water and dust protection ratings, adding durability to the spec sheet.
