JE Technology Desk: OnePlus is all set to launch the upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 2r in India on July 5. A dedicated microsite of the TWS is already live on the e-commerce platform Amazon and the OnePlus India website. The TWS will be a cheaper alternative to the OnePlus Nord Buds 2. In the latest move, the rumour mill has managed to leak the price and specifications of the upcoming wireless solution.
Pricebaba, citing a "trusted" tipster, reported that the Nord Buds 2r could have a box price of Rs 2,299. Do note the actual cost will be less than this at the time of launch. While it will be similar to the Nord Buds 2, it may not sport active noise cancellation (ANC). To add to the hype, tipster Mukul Sharma shared some of the specifications of the Nord Buds 2r on Twitter.
OnePlus Nord Buds 2r Specifications
The TWS may have a 12.4mm driver for audio. For calling, it will come with four mics. Speaking of the battery backup, it may survive for up to 38 hours with the case. For protection against dust and water, it will have an IP55 rating. It could come with three unique audio profiles for music variation.
Moreover, the company has teased that it will come in two colour options: Deep Gray and Triple Blue. The Amazon listing will reveal more details about the earphones in the coming days.
Other than the Nord Buds 2r, the company would also bring two Nord smartphones, reportedly the OnePlus Nord 3 and OnePlus Nord CE 3. Currently, the precise launch date of these phones is under wraps. Among the two, one of the handsets will have an Alert Slider and a Flat Display Design.
OnePlus Nord mobile series fall in the mid-range price category and caters to the audience looking to buy a smartphone in the sub-Rs 30,000-35,000 price point.
