OnePlus Open Foldable News: OnePlus, a Chinese smartphone maker, is set to launch its new foldable phone in India on October 19. The smartphone will launch at an event in Mumbai. And days before launch, a tipster has leaked the expected India price and sale date of the smartphone.

OnePlus Foldable Price In India (Expectations)

According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the OnePlus Open could be priced around Rs 1.40 lakh. This prediction is slightly more than tipster Yogesh Brar's speculated cost of around Rs 1.2 lakh. While a pre-reserve pass will allow buyers to buy the phone at the launch event, the first sale of the handset could begin on October 27, 2023, according to the tipster.

Priced at Rs 5,000, the pre-reserve pass will also extend a chance to buyers to attend the OnePlus Open Global Launch Event in the financial capital of India. Secondly, customers can avail of the OnePluds Buds Pro 2 free of cost at the event or the official website or the OnePlus Store app. Besides these, the company is promising exchange offers, free cover, linked device coupons and accidental protection plans.

OnePlus Open Tipped Specifications

The Open handset will likely have a 7.8-inch 2K main 120Hz AMOLED screen and a 6.31-inch cover 120Hz AMOLED panel. Under the hood, the phone could have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. As for the memory, it may offer 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. It may run on OxygenOS skin based on Android 13.

As for the battery, the handset could get a 4,800mAh battery and 100W charging. Moving to the optics, the OnePlus Open may have a 48MP primary, 48MP ultrawide and 64MP telephoto lens. On the front, the device could get a 32MP and 20MP selfie shooter. As for the extras, the device may offer an Alert Slider switch.
