OnePlus' highly anticipated foldable is all set to hit the Indian floors later this month. The Chinese smartphone maker's first book-style foldable has got fans excited for a long time, and the announcement came on the expected lines as was speculated by noted tipster Max Jambor.

According to the official website of OnePlus India, the smartphone will launch on October 19, 07:30 PM, at an event in Mumbai. A pre-reserve pass is available for purchase which will allow buyers to buy the phone at the launch event before the first sale begins. Here are more details about the pre-order pass:

- A buyer will get a chance to attend the live event in Mumbai via an exclusive invite

As for the specs, the phone could have a 6.31-inch AMOLED cover and a 7.8-inch 2K AMOLED 120Hz main screen. Under the hood, the handset could have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It will likely run on OxygenOS skin based on Android 13.

As for the battery, the OnePlus Open could sport a 4,800mAh battery with 100W charging. Moving to the camera, it may have a 48MP + 48MP + 64MP rear lenses. On the front, it may offer two options: 32MP and 20MP. Like signature OnePlus phones, the foldable will sport an Alert slider. As for the price, reports tip the phone could cost around 1.2 lakh.
