OnePlus Open will likely launch in the next month of 2023. While the phone was tipped to debut on August 29, it was reportedly delayed due to a modification in the display. And weeks before launch, the India price of the device has been tipped by a reliable tipster. Reports in the past have claimed the device will have a similar design to the OPPO Find N2.

OnePlus Open Expected Price

According to Yogesh Brar, the foldable device may be priced in the under Rs 1,20,000 price category. This means this could act as a cheaper alternative for users planning to buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5. The South Korean giant unveiled its latest fifth-generation foldable at a price tag of Rs 1,54,999.

Other than this, Brar did not share any more details about the product, But several reports have leaked the specifications of the OnePlus Open.

OnePlus Open Specifications In India (Expectations)

According to reports, the phone may sport a 7.8-inch main and 6.3-inch outer AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. For performance, the phone may have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. It may run on Android 13. The company may offer up to 16GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

A 4,800mAh battery with 67W charging support could sit on the back of the phone. As for the optics, the device may have a 48MP primary, 48MP ultrawide and 64MP periscope lens with 3X zoom. On the displays, it may sport a 32MP and 20MP lens.

Speaking of the foldable smartphone landscape in India, the Tecno Phantom V Fold 5G is the cheapest book-style foldable in India available for buying. It retails for under Rs 90,000 in India. This price segment is also the home of the new Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and OPPO Find N2 Flip clamshell foldable phones. If you can add Rs 10,000 to your budget, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is the new option in the small form factor foldable.
