Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 at its Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event on July 26. The phone is all set to take on the newly launched Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and OPPO's Find N2 Flip in India. This clamshell foldable features an upgraded external display that can run apps from Google and other vendors efficiently.

While the company launched the phone yesterday, the price was unveiled today in India. To give you a detailed look, here are the specifications and price of the handset.

Galaxy Z Flip 5 comes in Mint, Graphite, Cream, Lavender and other Samsung-exclusive colours (Green, Gray and Blue). According to the Newsroom post, buyers can pre-book the Galaxy Z Flip 5 from July 27 across Samsung's official channels and leading retail stores offline and online. Buyers pre-booking the device can avail of benefits up to Rs 20,000 via upgrade bonus and bank discounts. If you book a device during the Samsung Live event, you can avail a Silicone Case with Ring worth Rs 4,199 with the Z Flip 5.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Specifications

The clamshell has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display 120Hz refresh rate. A 3.4-inch Super AMOLED 60Hz cover display with a resolution of 720 x 748 sits on the front. The phone weighs 187g. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy for performance. It runs on the OneUI 5.1.1 version based on Android 13.

The IPX8-rated handset has a 3700mAh battery with 25W charging support. With this supplied power, the Z Flip 5 can charge up to 50 per cent in under 30 minutes. The handset has a 12MP primary OIS and 12MP ultra-wide cameras on the back. On the front display sits a 10MP camera. Talking of connectivity, the device boasts Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. For security, it offers a fingerprint scanner mounted on the frame.
