Samsung just concluded the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event an hour ago. Several highly anticipated products, including the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Tab S9 series and Watch 6 series debuted at the mega event. However, there were some products that reports claimed could launch soon but did not appear at the event. The Galaxy Ring and Samsung Galaxy S23 FE continue to remain a mystery to date.
To give you a better idea, here is a list of products that were expected to launch soon but could not make it to Unpacked this year.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 3
While we had reports that the Galaxy Buds 3 might launch at the Unpacked event, it seems the plan did not materialise as a reliable tipster (_snoopytech_) shared the company did not share details with the mobile carriers while sharing updates on Unpacked 2023.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE
One of the highly-anticipated products of the South Korean giant is the speculated Fan Edition phone. We had expected hints of the device at the Unpacked 2023 event. However, the company did not give us any zesty content. However, the wait might end soon as Android Authority claims a Samsung official has confirmed that an FE phone could launch soon.
Samsung XR Headset
After Apple, its closet competitor Samsung was speculated to foray into the VR experience with the launch of its MR headset. However, SBS Biz claimed the announcement could have been delayed by up to six months.
Samsung Smart Tags 2
Samsung's SmartTag 2 was anticipated by reports for a release. But the last year's SmartTag did not get a successor at the event. 9To5Google reported in June that the device will have Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
Samsung Galaxy Ring
And finally, the most-hyped product Galaxy Ring did not get any screen time at the event. As reports claimed the smart ring was in development, we expected a showcase on the lines of the Vision Pro. But this did not happen.
As for a general context on the market of this hi-tech accessory in India, gadgets makers boAt and Noise recently announced their incepting products in this uncharted segment. While Noise announced the Luna Ring on July 25, boAt unveiled Smart Ring a few days back. Further, Pi Ring, a smart ring maker, claims on its website that it introduced the "first smart ring" in India.
