OPPO A79 5G Price: OPPO, a Chinese smartphone maker, has launched its new A79 5G device in India. The handset ships with a 90Hz display and dual stereo speakers for an immersive multimedia experience. It is placed in the under Rs 20,000 price category and will be available for buying via OPPO's official website and leading online channels.

The smartphone gets a 6.71-inch 90Hz FHD+ LCD screen with 680nits of brightness. It weighs 193g and has a thickness of 7.99mm. For an immersive listening experience, the A79 5G has dual stereo speakers and Ultra Volume Mode up to 300 per cent.

Under the hood, it gets an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6020 and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone offers 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. It has a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SUPERVOOC charging. The handset runs on ColorOS 13.1 software.
OPPO A79 5G has a 50MP primary and 2MP secondary lens on the rear and an 8MP front camera. It has a side-mounted fingerprint reader and face unlock for secure authentication. As for connectivity, the IPX4-rated A79 5G has Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, a headphone jack and a USB Type-C port for charging.
