Oppo is ready to unveil its new F31 series in India on September 15. The company says this lineup is made for people who need a phone that can handle dust, water, heat, and accidental drops — in short, a phone that won’t give up easily when life gets rough.
Built Tough for Everyday Users
The series — including the Oppo F31, F31 Pro, and F31 Pro+ — is aimed at shopkeepers, traders, gig workers, and young professionals. All three phones will feature a rugged 360 Armour Body with multi-layer shock absorption and IP69, IP68 and IP66 ratings. Oppo says these devices can maintain smooth performance even in outdoor heat of up to 43°C.
Performance and Hardware
F31 Pro+ – Powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 with Adreno 720 GPU, up to 24GB RAM (12GB physical + 12GB virtual), UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5219 sq mm vapour chamber for better cooling.
F31 Pro – Runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy processor with up to 24GB RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4363 sq mm vapour chamber with expanded graphite sheets for improved thermal control.
F31 – Comes with a Dimensity 6300 chipset, Mali-G57 GPU, up to 24GB RAM, and a 4300 sq mm vapour chamber that boosts thermal efficiency by over 20% compared to the previous generation.
All three models will ship with ColorOS 15 and Oppo’s 72-Month Fluency Protection 2.0 to ensure long-term performance stability.
AI Features for Productivity
The F31 lineup will include several AI-powered tools such as AI VoiceScribe for transcription and translation, AI Call Assistant for live translations, OPPO Docs for editing, Notes Assistant, and Scan Document to turn images into editable text.
Camera Capabilities
- F31 Pro+ – 50MP OIS main camera, secondary monochrome sensor, and 32MP front camera.
- F31 Pro – Similar setup to the Pro+.
- F31 – 50MP primary camera with dual 2MP portrait lenses, plus a 16MP selfie camera.
All three support 4K recording, dual-view video, and underwater photography. Oppo’s AI imaging engine adds tools like AI Eraser 2.0, AI Unblur, Reflection Remover, and enhanced portrait retouching.
Battery and Charging
Each model will carry a 7000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging. Oppo claims a 0–58% charge in 30 minutes and a full charge in just over an hour. The phones also support reverse wireless charging.
