Oppo Find X9s Launch: Oppo launched its Find X9s handset on Tuesday, but only in a few international markets, alongside its flagship offering the Oppo Find X9 Ultra. Apart from the models mentioned before, in China the smartphone maker also showcased the Oppo Find X9s Pro, which comes with somewhat similar specifications and features. The Find X9s can now be pre-ordered in the select global markets that it was launched in, and it can be done via the company's official online store. Oppo’s Find X9s arrives in three colour options and a single RAM and storage setup, keeping things fairly straightforward. It runs on an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000-series chip and packs the same battery seen on the Find X9s Pro. You also get a triple rear camera system here. Oppo has already confirmed that both the Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra are headed to India in May.
Oppo Find X9s: Specifications And Features
On the front, the Find X9s features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 1,256 x 2,760 resolution. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, so interactions should feel smooth. The panel also covers 100 per cent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and can hit up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness. You’re getting a pixel density of 460ppi, support for 1.07 billion colours, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection on top.
Under the hood, it’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, paired with an Immortalis G925 MC12 GPU. The phone comes with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It also carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, so it’s well protected against dust and water.
Camera-wise, Oppo is sticking with a Hasselblad-tuned setup. There are three 50-megapixel sensors at the back, a primary camera with autofocus and two-axis OIS, an ultrawide lens with a 120-degree field of view, and a telephoto shooter. On the front, there’s a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The phone can record videos at up to 4K at 60fps.
Battery is another highlight here. The Find X9s packs a 7,025mAh unit with support for 80W wired fast charging. For connectivity, you get 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.1, a USB Type-C port, and support for multiple navigation systems, including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and NavIC. It also includes an in-display fingerprint scanner and a full set of sensors, along with an IR blaster. The phone measures 156.98 x 73.93 x 7.99mm and weighs about 202 grams.
