Oppo is getting ready to expand its K-series lineup in China, and this time the focus seems to be clearly on performance and gaming. The company has confirmed that the Oppo K15 Pro series will debut in the first week of April, alongside a couple of new accessories.
Oppo K15 Pro Series launch details
Oppo has officially announced that the K15 Pro series will launch in China on April 1. The lineup is expected to include the Oppo K15 Pro and the Oppo K15 Pro+, though the company hasn’t fully detailed the differences between the two just yet.

From the teasers posted on Weibo, it seems that these devices are designed keeping gamers in mind. Some of the notable features of these devices include active cooling fans. This puts these K15 Pro series devices in the same category as other devices like K13 Turbo Pro.
Accessories launching alongside
Alongside the smartphones, Oppo will also introduce the Oppo Watch X3 Mini and the Oppo Enco Clip 2. The Watch X3 Mini is essentially a more compact version of the existing Watch X3, while the Enco Clip 2 earbuds are being tuned by Danish audio brand Dynaudio, hinting at a strong focus on sound quality.
Expected specifications and performance
Based on recent leaks, the Oppo K15 Pro could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. It is also tipped to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED display, along with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera.
Battery details are still unclear, but earlier reports suggested a very large unit, potentially going as high as 8,000mAh. Interestingly, there were also earlier claims pointing to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, though newer leaks lean towards a MediaTek processor instead.
What about India?
As of now, there’s no clarity on whether the Oppo K15 Pro series will make its way to India anytime soon. Oppo recently launched the K14 series in the country, and historically, the brand has followed different naming strategies for China and global markets.
A quick look at its predecessor
For context, the predecessor in China is considered to be the K13 Turbo Pro, which came with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a 1.5K AMOLED display, vapour chamber cooling, and strong water resistance ratings. With active cooling now confirmed, the K15 Pro series looks set to push things even further in the gaming space.
