OPPO Reno 14 Series India Launch: OPPO and Google are taking their partnership to the next level by bringing advanced AI capabilities to the upcoming Reno 14 Series, which is expected to arrive in India soon. This collaboration builds on announcements made at Google I/O 2025, where Google showcased major upgrades to its Gemini AI platform.
The enhanced Gemini experience now goes far beyond basic chatbot functions. It can generate images and videos, summarise lengthy content, assist with research, and even handle real-time tasks. Google’s vision is to create a seamless AI assistant that works across services — and OPPO is now integrating that power into its smartphones.
Reno 14 Series Gets Gemini AI Features
The Reno 14 Series, which recently launched in China with the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro, will now support Gemini AI. OPPO is weaving this AI deeply into its own ecosystem, embedding it within native apps like Notes, Calendar, and Clock. Users can activate Gemini by simply holding the side button and using a voice command to create a note, check appointments, or set a reminder — all without switching between apps.
One of Gemini’s most useful additions is multi-app coordination. It can, for example, read long documents, pull out the key points, and drop the summary into OPPO Notes. Watching a recipe on YouTube? Gemini can extract the steps and save them in Notes, ready for later use.
Trip planning is also getting smarter. Just tell Gemini about a booking, and it can automatically add the event to the OPPO Calendar, streamlining your schedule without any manual input.
Bigger Picture: OPPO’s AI Push
This new feature rollout is part of OPPO’s broader AI roadmap. Back at Mobile World Congress 2025, the company announced its goal to bring AI-powered tools to over 100 million users by the end of the year. OPPO says its AI systems will be secure, useful, and continually evolving.
India Launch Coming Soon
While OPPO hasn’t confirmed an exact launch date for India, the arrival of the Reno 14 Series seems imminent. With Google Gemini baked in, OPPO is positioning the Reno 14 lineup as more than just a hardware upgrade — it's a smarter smartphone experience.
