JAPANESE giant Panasonic launched its new lineup of OLED TVs in India on Thursday. The LZ950 TVs from the Japanese giant are available in two variants - 55 (139cm) and 65 (165cm) inches.

The OLED big screens come with an ultra-slim panel having a thickness of just 4.5mm and no visible bezels on the front, Gizmochina reports. It is powered by a 4K Studio Colour Engine for enhanced colour performance. The panel supports HDR10, micro-dimming, 4K upscaling and noise reduction, it adds.

As far as performance goes, the TV comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. Talking of software, it comes on Android OS 10 and has Panasonic's MirAIe, Alexa and Google Assistant functionality. Plus, it comes with The TV comes with Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, Disney+Hotstar, Zee5, JioCinema, Sony LIV, Voot and other OTT apps, digit reports.

For immersive sound, it comes with a 20W speaker unit with Dolby Atmos support Plus, it has Home Theater built-in with tweeter. Connectivity options in the TV include Chromecast, HDMI 2.0 port, I cast, 2-way Audio via Bluetooth, optical output and two USB ports, digit mentions.

Fumiyasu Fujimori, Managing Director, Panasonic Marketing India, Panasonic Life Solutions India said, "Post pandemic, the demand for larger screen size television has seen a significant surge in the country due to the rising trend of at-home entertainment."

"Panasonic OLEDs have been developed keeping in mind the evolving demands of new-age consumers,” he adds. He further states, “We expect the OLED TVs to enhance the 4K contribution to 50% to the overall TV business revenue,” according to a report by The Hindu.

The TV comes with reliable Japanese technology and can prove a capable option for users looking for an OLED Big screen at a premium price tag.
