There is some good news for fans of PUBG, as the latest PUBG Mobile 4.0 update is finally out now and is officially available for download. This time the new event has taken inspiration from Halloween and brings in various updates as well across the globe for its fans. The Spooky Soiree mode has taken the spotlight this time; this magic-filled, fantasy-themed Halloween event brings in new areas like Magic Mirror Castle and new energised loot zones, and to add to it all, spooky and magical visuals for its fans to dwell in something new.

Players now have fresh tools to experiment with, starting with the Ghosty companion that brings unique abilities like flying, shielding, and healing to the battlefield. To the mix comes the Magic Broom, which is a flying car that alters mobility, and the new Mortar gun, which disturbs combat with explosive long-range power. These are meant to take gameplay to a higher level, and the community cannot wait to get going.

How to update PUBG Mobile 4.0

To obtain the newest version, merely launch the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, search for PUBG Mobile, and select Update.

For users who prefer to install manually

You can download APK and OBB files from reputable sources like TapTap or Uptodown. Android users need to activate "install from unknown sources", install APK, and move the OBB files into the right game folder.

The update is rolling out gradually worldwide. Android players tend to receive access a bit earlier during the day, while iOS users will have to wait slightly longer.

What's new in the update?

On Erangel, Lipovka has been overhauled with reworked buildings and new terrain, providing more strategic options. The mortar provides catastrophic long-range firepower, as realistic reload mechanics and discreet pistol idle animations add to the realism, making each match more realistic than ever before.
