Realme, a Chinese smartphone maker, is reportedly gearing up for the launch of its upcoming Realme 12 series handsets. Amid the update of the rumour mill managing to leak the first look of the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus, the company has unveiled its new tagline. The new "Make it real" tagline has replaced the "Dare to Leap" slogan.

This update comes after the brand said that it will announce "major news" on X (formerly Twitter) at 07:30 AM IST today. While media outlets reported that the brand may make an announcement concerning the Realme 12 series in India, it seems fans will have to wait more for an official word. The rumour mill claims the phone may launch in India in February 2024.

According to FoneArena, the model numbers of the tipped phones (that appeared on TENAA in China) are RMX3841, RMX3843 and RMX3866. Here are the leaked pics floating on X (formerly Twitter):

Realme 12 Pro Series Expected Specifications, Launch Timeline

Considering the images, the smartphones may have a leather back similar to their predecessors. It could offer a curved display and a circular camera design like the Realme 11 Pro 5G series. According to 91Mobiles, the Realme 12 Pro+ may debut with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. The models could run on Android 14 out of the box on top of Realme UI 5.0. The handsets may have a periscope lens this time.

As for the optics, the 12 Pro+ could offer a 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide and 64MP telephoto sensor on the back. The periscope lens is similar to the one found on the upcoming OnePlus 12 and newly launched iQOO 12 5G. Different from this setup, the Realme 12 Pro could offer a 32MP zoom lens. Considering the leaked images, the model may debut in two colours at least: Orange and Cream. Considering the brand's previous record, the handsets will likely sit in the sub-Rs 25-000-35,000 price bracket.
