Reame 12 Pro Plus India Release: Realme, a Chinese smartphone maker, could be preparing to release its upcoming Realme 12 series smartphones in India. The update comes after the launch of the premium Realme GT 5 Pro in China. The number series models were reportedly spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) platform. For the unversed, the company introduced the Realme 11 series in May this year.
According to Gizmochina, the handsets were certified on BIS with model numbers: 'RMX3842' and 'RMX3840'. These devices likely received certification on December 8. However, a reader must note that the smartphone maker has not confirmed any details about the smartphones in development.
Realme 12 Pro, 12 Pro Plus Leaked Specifications
According to previous tips from DigitalChatStation, the two handsets may have a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset for performance. It will be based on a 4nm fabrication process and offer an Adreno GPU. The majority of details about the device remain under wraps, except for the rear telephoto camera.

As for the optics, the Realme 12 Pro could have a 32MP 2X telephoto sensor. The 12 Pro Plus may sport a 64MP 3X telephoto sensor. Both phones will likely have a circular camera array similar to the newly launched Realme GT5 Pro.
Realme 12 Pro Expected Price, Release Date (Leaks)
According to reports, the Realme 12 Pro series could have a starting price of 2,099 yuan, which translates to about Rs 24,500 after price conversion. Considering the recent certifications, the handsets may debut in the first month of 2024.
The handset will likely act as a competitor to the upcoming Redmi Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro Plus 5G. Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the top-end model will launch in January next year. You can read more on this here.
