Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme 16T 5G is launching in India on May 22, adding another model to the growing Realme 16 lineup that already includes the Realme 16, Realme 16 Pro, and Realme 16 Pro+. Ahead of the launch, the company has started teasing several key details about the smartphone, including its design, battery, colours, and availability.

The upcoming handset will be available in Starlight Black, Starlight Red, and a blue colour option. Realme has also confirmed that the phone will go on sale through Flipkart and the company’s official India website once it launches next week.

One of the biggest highlights of the Realme 16T 5G is its massive 8,000mAh Titan Battery. According to the company, the phone can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge. Realme is also claiming up to 14.3 hours of gaming, 34 hours of social media browsing, and nearly 22 hours of navigation. The battery is additionally said to retain usability for up to seven years. The device will support 45W wired fast charging, bypass charging, and wired reverse charging as well.
On the design front, the Realme 16T 5G appears to feature a flat back panel with a square camera island. The module houses a dual rear camera setup along with an LED flash and what Realme calls a selfie mirror. The volume buttons and power key are placed on the right side, while the left edge looks clean. The phone is confirmed to measure 8.8mm in thickness.

While Realme has not yet revealed the complete specifications, the handset was recently spotted on Geekbench. The device is believed to have a processor such as the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 along with at least 8GB RAM in the phone. The chipset will include two cores with performance capabilities operating at a speed of 2.4GHz and six cores with low-efficiency levels operating at a frequency of 2GHz. The device is also believed to come preloaded with Android 16.
