Redmi 13C Launch Date In India Close: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi is reportedly gearing up to introduce the Redmi Note 13 series in India soon. And amid this buzz, a report from 91Mobiles claims that the tech maker may launch another smartphone - Redmi 13C in the country next month.

According to the tech outlet, the company may end the year with a launch of its budget smartphone and the successor to the Redmi 12C. The device has debuted in the global markets, and the Indian model might be on similar lines as the international variant. For the unversed, the handset may sit between the Redmi A2 lineup and the popular number series, with the Redmi Note 12 series being the latest iteration.

Redmi 13C Specifications

According to the global listing, the Redmi 13C may sport a 6.74-inch LCD 90Hz display with a resolution of 1600x720 and 600 nits of peak brightness. It could weigh 192g and have a thickness of 8.09mm. Under the hood, the handset will likely have a MediaTek Helio G85 CPU and Mali-G52 GPU for performance. It could run on MIUI 13 based on Android 13.

The 13C will likely have a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging. As for the optics, the handset may offer a 50MP primary and 2MP macro lens on the rear and an 8MP front camera. As for connectivity, the model could have a microSD card slot, an audio jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transmission.

Considering the previous track record of the 'C' series, the handset may be priced in the under Rs 10,000 category. Other details like storage variants, colours, and availability continue to remain under wraps. Meanwhile, the company will introduce a range of new products like the Redmi K70 series, Redmi Book 16, Redmi Watch 4, and Redmi Buds 5 Pro in an event in its homeland on November 29. Moreover, the company may also introduce the Redmi Note 13 series which may include the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus in India soon.
