Redmi Note 13 Pro vs Redmi Note 12 Pro: Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi launched the Redmi Note 13 series in India on January 4. The lineup debuted as an upgrade to the Redmi Note 12 series models and consisted of three models: Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G vs Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G: Specifications

Display: The Note 13 Pro has a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED 120Hz screen with 1,800 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Redmi Note 12 Pro offers a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED Display with 900nits peak brightness.

Performance: Redmi's latest phone sports a 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip with Adreno 710 GPU. The 12 series model gets a 6nm Dimensity 1080 with ARM Mali-G68 MC4 GPU.

Software: The new phone runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14. Redmi has promised three Android and four years of security updates with the phone. On the flip side, the older sibling gets MIUI 13 based on Android 12 (with two OS upgrades and four years of security updates).

Battery: Redmi's latest handset has a 5,100mAh battery with 67W charging. Note 12 Pro has a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 67W charging.

Camera: The Note 13 Pro offers a 200MP OIS + 8MP + 2MP macro and 16MP selfie lens. Redmi's older model gets a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP back and 16MP front camera.

Extras: Redmi Note 13 Pro offers Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, a headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, an in-screen fingerprint sensor and an IP54 rating. On the other hand, Note 12 Pro boasts Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, a Type-C port and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
