Redmi Note 14 5G Series Leaks: Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is expected to launch the Redmi Note 14 series in China this month. While Xiaomi or Redmi has not confirmed any official details about the devices, the rumour mill has managed to leak several details about the rumoured Redmi Note 14 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G.
Ahead of the launch, here is everything we know so far about the new smartphones with the expected India pricing and launch timeline.
Redmi Note 14 5G Price Range, Specifications (Expected)
Rumoured to be the most affordable Redmi Note in the series, the Redmi Note 14 may sport a 1.5K AMOLED 120Hz screen, according to Gizmochina. For performance, it may sport a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor. It is expected to have a 50MP primary lens on the rear. Considering the modest changes, we expect the smartphone to carry a starting price of under Rs 20,000.
Redmi Note 14 Pro Price Range, Specifications (Expected)
The leaked CAD renders of the Note 14 Pro 5G hint the handset could debut with a redesigned rear. It may sport a squircle camera module at the top centre. As for specifications, the smartphone may get a 1.5K AMOLED screen. Under the hood, the phone may get a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor.
As for the optics, rumours tip a 50MP primary, an ultrawide and a telephoto lens on the global trim of the device. The phone could support 90W charging. Considering Xiaomi's previous track record, we expect the pricing to start between Rs 27,000-28,000 in India. The India arrival of the Redmi Note 14 series could materialise in January 2025 after a September 2024 launch in China.
Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus Price Range, Specifications (Expected)
Arguably the most expensive upcoming Note, the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus may sport a 1.5K curved AMOLED screen. As for the design, it could be similar to the Note 14 Pro from the rear. For performance, the smartphone may get a 4nm Dimensity 7350 chipset. According to the report, the handset may get a 50MP primary lens (compared to the 200MP on the Note 13 Pro Plus).
We expect the smartphone to carry a starting price of Rs 33,000-34,000 in India. The Redmi Note 14 series may run on Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14.
