Redmi Note 14 Series Leaks: Xiaomi, a Chinese smartphone maker, is expected to unveil the Redmi Note 14 series in China in the upcoming month. Ahead of a Chinese release, a device that appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification platform could be the Redmi Note 14. Next to the Redmi phone, a POCO handset also appeared online, hinting at a possible India debut soon.
According to a report from Gizmochina, two smartphones with model numbers: 24094RAD4I and 2409FPCC4I were spotted on BIS. The former appears to be the upcoming vanilla Note Indian model. The 'PC' reference in the other serial number hints this could be the POCO X7 Neo. However, readers must note these details with a pinch of salt as Redmi or POCO has not confirmed the existence of the phones.
Redmi Note 14 could sport 45W charging support. In a previous leak, the specifications of the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus were leaked. The 14 Pro is tipped to sport a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, and the 14 Pro+ is said to gain a Dimensity 7350 chipset. Both handsets may sport a 1.5K curved OLED screen and a 50MP rear camera.
The phones could debut with a squircle camera design (at the top center) on the rear. Redmi Note 14 series mobiles may run on HyperOS based on Android 14. For context, the China launch could materialise in September 2024, and an India release could follow next year. While no details about pricing are available, buyers can expect the base model of the vanilla Note 14 to sit under the Rs 20,000 price range.
The Note 14 Pro is expected to debut in the sub-Rs 25,000-30,000 and the Note 14 Pro Plus could be priced above Rs 30,000. However, do note that Xiaomi has not confirmed these details and you must note the information with a pinch of salt as these may change at the time of launch.
